Recently I purchased a pair of Ralph Lauren pants at Macy's St. Claire Sq.
store. After wearing them the second time I noticed a big opening next to the zipper. Upon closer inspection, it was evident that it had not been stitched properly since the opening was in the middle of the zipper. I also noticed that it was manufactured in Vietnam - I don't mind that but I do mind paying a good price for an inferior pair of pants that could have resulted in an embarrassing situation.
I now have to have them repaired since taking them back would be counterproductive since I live quite a distance from a Macy's store.
I know off shoring is the way to turn a profit but quality should be a consideration. John Sharp ( an unhappy customer )
