Defective Boots

I am a long time customer of Polo/Ralph Lauren. I purchased a pair of Ranger Brandy Timber brown boots and the sole on both boots have completely separated from the boots. I have worn the boots fewer than 10 times in a year. As a long time customer, I am very disappointed with this experience. I have purchased and worn Ralph Lauren Clothing, accessories and shoes for more than 30 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had with Ralph Lauren / Polo shoes. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Because this is the first time I have had such a horrible experience with this particular brand, I will not stop wearing the brand, but I do intend to share my experience with the company.

I purchased a pair of Ralph Lauren polo the Roland 10 and a half D leather upper leather fabric lining 1934 j13 made in China the problem I'm having is the front Soul does not go out far enough in front of the toe of it and it's wearing the leather out I have *** in the front of it the shoes I got for Christmas I'm only warm about 8 times what do I do in this situation I took it to a repair shop they said there's nothing they could do I be better off to try to contact someone at the place that I purchased them but I got these for Christmas gift my email address is ralphdorsey@

I purchased items online. Never received the items as they were sent back to sender for no apparent reason. On top of that. They double charged me and never posted the refunds. Multiple follow up emails sent and no decent response n clearly no intention of crediting me back. I have provided a letter from my bank clearly stating the charges but still no response. Cheats?

I have the exact situation plus I was double charged. Items never received and they are not responding to my emails at all.

Worst every customer service. I have attached letter from my bank clearly indicating the double charge and they are just ignoring my emails.

Extremely dissapointing. Bad service.

RL went from selling one of the best quality, classic styles, to the cheapest, worst quality. The cable cashmere sweaters were originally beautifully made.

However, they were made in Italy, and then Hong Kong and now good-old China, where the quality absolutely sucks. And then the slim fit. Just another way of saving on material. A company such as this does not deserve to be in business.

Hopefully it will go out of business entirely. It is unthinkable that they can get away with peddling such garbage to the public. I bought the cable cashmere’s as gifts for my college-age nieces. They unanimously asked me NOT to buy this crap for them any longer.

So sad. Even most of the second-hand stores say no Ralph Lauren, please.

Cusromer service not helpful

website confusing and not accurate called customer service and received run around after 1/2 hour wait didn't have time to understand my issue and rushed me off phone stating when you get it return it to the store gave us no satisfaction or concern for the customer been a customer 40 years never experienced this type of behavior. Ralph Lauren dress $159 and it faded first time I wore it

I purchased a Ralph Lauren dress for $159 and it faded the first time I wore it. The dress was black with white color panels across the top and down one side. The colors were different fabrics sewed together; the very popular color panel dresses. After I took off the dress I saw the black fabric had faded onto the white sleeve. It was marked washable dress so I washed it twice to see if the back would come off. But instead the black fabric bleed onto the white fabric making the white part all grey. It is terrible that this was not tested before these dresses were made and sold. Horrible!

Loafers poor customer service

Purchased a pair of ladies loafers and the colour has come of the leather after only wearing them twice, no receipt but obviously RL as per labels etc., on and in shoes. Outlet store agreed they were faulty but not purchased at that outlet store. Wrote to customer services unable to assist as they only deal with RL retail stores not outlets and unable to point me in the right direction. Awful customer service, and return email no help what so ever. Waste of £109. Has anyone idea who to contact with regards to purchases at an outlet store.

Interragation by cashier

I went into Ralph Lauren store in Bicester Village today, as I approached the cashier to pay was pointed to the point to give my details, what language I wanted, what Country that I reside in, English and Briton, was then faced with purchase price and "denote to charity" - no name of charity, and also asking for Euros, as consideration declined as i would be charge, conversion charge from Euros into Pounds, plus a transaction charge. The girl then responded, "oh you dont wish to denote to charity" and let everyone in the *** behind me hear, WHY should i have to justify myself to anyone about my decision on denotation to charity? then when my transaction was going through she decided to start folding shirts, so long that i was going to lean over counter and take receipt from the PDQ machine. What ever happened to "customer comes first" and look after your customers, there are plenty of other shops and stores that would be happy to take my money

It is our primary concern that all our customers have a most enjoyable shopping experience and feel satisfied with the service they receive, and so a great deal of emphasis is always placed on service both on the shop floor and at the point of sale. With this in mind I am very sorry indeed to hear that this was not your experience, and I wonder if you would be kind enough to forward me the cashier number from your receipt so that we are able to identify the individual in question and make sure that these areas of service are refreshed and reinforced to avoid any further incidents.

This would be most helpful indeed.

With regard to the use of the iPad at the point of sale I have investigated this in order to better understand the issues you have mentioned and I hope that I will be able to explain a little of how this works.

At the point in the transaction when a customer is given the option to chose to either make a donation or not, there is no indication of the specific charity. However as soon as either option is taken, the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is shown on the screen. So even when a customer chooses not to make a donation, the Charity information is still shown along with a chance to request further details. The donation of £1 does indeed appear on the screen as 1 Euro and I am extremely sorry for any confusion this may have caused, however this is due to the fact that our European Head Office is in Geneva and the majority of stores within the region will be using the Euro as a currency.

Had you opted to make a donation this would naturally have been explained to you but I do appreciate that in the circumstances, as you had decided not to, this was not explained.

Regrettably I am of course not in a position to comment on any conversations you may have had with your cashier, but although I am certain that there was no intention to offend, I would like to offer my sincere apologies if this did not appear to be the case at the time and I do assure you that the matter will be investigated. If you would like to discuss this issue further do please let me know when might be a convenient time to call and I will be more than happy to speak to you in person regarding this matter.
